Value Workshop

The success of an independent software vendor (ISV) in the Microsoft ecosystem depends on how well the ISV knows how to work with Microsoft. Based on our experience, even the highly recognized Microsoft partners have issues in being effective with Microsoft.

TELLUS VALUE WORKSHOP helps software vendors recognize the possibilities that the vast Microsoft ecosystem provides. The content for the workshop is divided into multiple functional areas with active collaboration around the key topics:

  • Introduction of Microsoft ecosystem at large and what an ISV should consider when working with Microsoft
  • Product– and technology strategy for the ISV with emphasis on how to align the product suite with corresponding Microsoft technology with discussion of value proposition
  • Business model opportunities within Microsoft ecosystem from the ISV perspective
  • Channel development in the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Qualified for Success discussion with action plan for execution steps to validate the strategy.

The program execution is based on one month’s assignment and the program is divided into three phases: pre-study, workshop and post-analysis. The ISV will receive a report of the findings after all three phases have been executed.
