Software vendors are undergoing a major business model change and every ISV, software or web-developer has to build its business strategy based on these changes. These changes are impacting the financial models (both revenue streams as well as cost structure), the customer relationships, distribution channels and also the core competences that the software vendor has to have to be able to be successful.

TELLUS uses the business Model Canvas Framework from Dr. Osterwalder that provides a generic framework for building a business model and we have built our work around this for software vendors (ISVs) and other software related businesses. The Business Model Canvas is a tremendous tool for management to achieve a broad picture of their business. We provide guidance for each business model canvas component for a software vendor that wants to build its strategy. The result of our deep-dive workshops is the foundation for short- and long –term business strategy.
